- Drive south to Pasikudah, a peaceful bay famous for its shallow, crystal-clear water.
- The sea stays waist-deep far from shore – ideal for easy swimming and paddling.
- Days at leisure on the beach.
- Head down the coast to Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka’s surf capital.
- Surf lessons for beginners or ride the famous point breaks (best from May to September).

- Continue to Galle on the south coast.
